If you are or worried about the condition of your chimney and believe it may be blocked or defective in some way or are thinking of having your chimney lined, we offer a full inspection and soundness testing service using CCTV equipment after sweeping. NACS sweeping and test certificates are always issued after work has been completed. The certificates are an important part of a home sellers report and may be required by some insurance companies.
Allan chimney sweeps use a Wohler highly specialised miniature camera with recording facility, we use this type of camera as it is very manoeuvrable, incorporating 360 degree rotation and 180 degree swivel with 20 meters of cable allowing us to inspect the highest of chimneys.
Images are displayed on a colour 7" TFT monitor and the camera is uses 12 white LEDs built round the lens for illumination.
We can provide the customer with a colour copy of the inspection on DVD along with a written report on the condition of the flue at the time of the inspection.
